Shankar is a serial entrepreneur, with experience in founding and operating enterprise software companies, like Esseven and Epiance, as well as a new generation of infrastructure businesse based on technology, like software defined power at Virtual Power Systems, and energy internet at Energy Harbors. His earlier carriers included leadership roles in software development companies, like NIIT and Wipro and strategy and management consulting at Deloitte. He holds a BS Mech Engg (IIT, Bombay) and an MBA in Finance and Energy (IIM Bangalore).
