Murali Sundaresan has worked in the semiconductor industry for over three decades, on all aspects of digital semiconductors from circuit design to logic testing to chip architecture. He was a chief architect at Intel Corporation, working on the CPU, 2D and 3D and multimedia graphic engines, GPUs, and AI neural networks. He has interfaced widely with companies like AMD, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Adobe, Pixar, Autodesk, Apple, Hewlett Packard, and Google to drive the hardware designs into consumer products. Murali was a founder at two successful start-up companies - 3Dfx Interactive Inc, a 3D graphics company, and Azul Systems, a Java Virtual Machine company. He holds over 15 patents related to digital hardware and computer architecture. Murali has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Chennai) (1982), and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (1984). Murali lives in the Silicon Valley of the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
